Abbie Hielman
Abbie believes yoga is the foundation for a happy, healthy life. By connecting the strength of her body with the strength of her mind she has been able to truly find her center. Abbie is a native York County resident and a life-long yogi. She began practicing yoga as a teenager. Abbie has a strong background in sports and athletics. Her practice began as she was searching for a way to increase her flexibility and calm the fluctuations of her mind. Over the years her passion for her yoga practice expanded. She was certified as an Antigravity instructor in the spring of 2018. Abbie has completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training program through Dana Hot Yoga in Philadelphia. By day Abbie can be found teaching fifth graders ELA, by night she can be found flipping and flying in her hammock or on the floor stretching her body into new and unusual ways. Abbie’s love for teaching and learning help to make her the endearing, heartwarming yogini that she is. Her colorful clothing and her cheerful personality create a welcoming environment for her clients. Abbie’s passion for music is evident in her playlists for her classes. She truly believes in building a cohesive, judgment-free zone where a community of like-minded individuals work together for the simple beauty of it. When Abbie is not practicing she can be found spoiling her nieces and nephews. Her most favorite pastime is spending time camping at Lake Raystown with her husband and her puppy.
